We participated in the annual Spring Clean Challenge again this year organised by An Taisce. We registered our group and received gloves along with various bags for recycling & general waste. Our clean-up began at Digby Bridge where we walked along the canal and finished in Sallins. We gathered a lot of waste and managed to fill plenty of bags. We met our Beaver Groups who were working on the other side of the canal towards Landenstown and saw that they also had plenty of waste gathered. Thankfully the weather stayed dry. This is our SOCIAL event for our new LONE* program. We will be doing our review next Thursday in Den.
