On Thursday night we held our first Beaver bake off in conjunction with scouting Ireland.
Our Beavers baked at home and brought their produce into den. We had buns, cakes, muffins, cookies, flapjacks, brownies, rocky roads, more cakes, and just a little chocolate!!!, all of which had to be painfully tasted, tested and tasted again. We had a few soggy bottoms and a few crispy corners but these were just the scouters. While the beavers made moon rocks and GORP the judges picked the winners. All entries won best of something and everyone received a Beaver bake off badge.
The best bit was still to come, they got to finish all the bakes, and that they did!!
