On Thursday night our two beavers and cub sections got together for a wheels no engines in Mondello racetrack. It was a mighty quick pit stop for all as heavy shower made for a very wet track and many competitors had to change from slicks to wet tyres on there bikes, flickers, roller blades and scooters. Thankfully the rain stopped and the racers got a chance to race around either the short or long circuits.
The day ended with a splash the scouter competition while cycling through a big puddle!!
Both spectators and competitors enjoyed tea and treats thanks to parents and scouters. Thank you to Damien for the Gazebo and Mondello for use of the track.
